Strain wire clamps are used to fix the conductor or lightning line in the non-linear tower tension insulator strings, play the role of anchoring, but also used to fix the pulling line pole alternatives to the pulling line.NY-G lightning line with tensioning wire clamps for the installation of steel stranded wire GJ-35~GJ-150, used as a non-linear tower of the end of the fixing or the pulling line of the end of the fixing. The original compression type tensioning clamp consists of a steel pipe and a U-shaped round steel welded at one end as a pull ring, now changed to the whole forging process. Such as stranded wire as lightning conductor, installation of stranded wire into the steel pipe in the U-shaped ring side of the exposure of a certain length, fixed in the tower, used to connect the lead wires.
1. When Strain clamps of the NY-G type are utilized for lightning wires, steel anchors are utilized instead of aluminum tubes to secure the stranded wires.
2. As a conductor, NY type Strain clamps are immobile once installed and must withstand the full tension of the lightning line.

Summary
The primary purpose of strain clamps is to secure wires and lightning rods in overhead power lines. They can also be used to attach lightning conductors to poles or link them with strain insulators using connecting fittings. It is separated into three varieties based on the installation technique and structure: bolt type, compression type, and wedge type. There are two categories for compression types: explosive pressure and hydraulic type.
