The ball eyes is the connection between the iron tower and the insulator on the transmission line, and usually has no other functions. As a common power equipment, ball eyes is widely used in transmission lines.

Summary

The ball eyes is generally connected between the iron tower and the insulator. When installing the ball eyes, first install one end of the ball eyes on the insulator, and then tighten the insulator in the direction of the iron frame. The end of the ball eyes away from the insulator is installed on the iron frame. Since the length of the ball eyes is not adjustable, when the insulator is tightened in the direction of the iron frame, multiple people are required to cooperate to pull the insulator to make the insulator reach the iron frame. The distance is less than the length of the ball eyes, so that the ball eyes can be installed on the iron frame.
