Spiral Vibration Damper is made of high-strength,anti-aging PVC plastic ,it commonly used in the damping device for ADSS using its anti-vibration part to produce anti vibration effects on wind vibration, consuming the vibration energy that produced by the cable running under the action of laminar wind,to prevent the destruction of gold tool and fiber optic cable,which mainly used for ADSS cable and OPGW cable in heavy ice disaster area.
Installed Spiral Vibration Dampers can be placed along the cable in several positions or at the same point. The gripping section shall be close to the tower, and the length from the damping section to the end of the protective rod in the tension device or suspension device shall be 12 cm. The number of dampers per span is determined based on cable stress and span length.
