Full tension splice fitting - JY-L type
Full tension splice sleeve are also named tension joint,splice sleeve are used for splicing or repairing conductor and ground wire of overhead transmission and distribution lines.tension joint provide a reliable,economical,and easy to install splicing method for overhead transmission and distribution lines.
Technical specification
Aluminum splices for aluminum conductors not only meet the basic tension requirements, but also deal with the "cold flow" problems of aluminum and the oxide filings that form on conductor strands.
The DC resistance of the splice joints must be less than the DC resistance of an equal length of conductor, the temperature rise of all splice joints must be less than that of the spliced conductor, and the slip strength of the compression sleeve must be less than 95% of the rated strength of the conductor.
