    Full-Tension Joint Sleeve – JY, JYD

    The JY and JYD full-tension connector sleeves are suitable for all aluminum-clad steel-core aluminum stranded conductors (ACSR). The inner sleeve is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, and the connecting tube is a seamless extruded aluminum alloy tube.

     

    Technical Specifications

    1. The mechanical strength of the connection point shall not be less than 95% of the calculated tensile strength of the conductors being connected.

    2. The resistance at the joint shall not exceed the resistance of the conductor length being connected.

    3. The rated voltage of the connection point shall ensure that, when continuously carrying the load current, the temperature rise does not exceed the temperature rise of the conductor itself.
